A Comic Opera in Three Acts Music by Otto Nicolai Text by Hermann von Mosenthal (after Shakespeare's play) Dialogue by Peter Wylde
This production is dedicated to the memory of the late VILMA AMBEL Founding Member and Member of the Board of Directors of the Sault Opera Society, and Member of the Board of Directors of Theatre Ontario, who passed away suddenly on April 8, 1983. During her association with the Sault Opera, Vilma Ambel performed primary lead roles in thirteen stage productions and designed the costumes for twenty-five stage productions, as well as acting as the Wardrobe Mistress for Sault Opera. She won the award for best costumes in the 1975 QUONTA Festival. Her untiring efforts towards the progress of Sault Opera will remain an inspiration to all of us.
